It was a cold and dull Halloween day in the town of Mirkwood. Mike and John were biking their way to school. They had to go to school until twelve o’clock and they get the rest of the day off because of Halloween. Mike and John were making their way home talking about buying some supplies for their trick or treating costume. Mike and John being the best Halloween costume winners in their school, always used to take home lots of candy since everyone admires their costumes. Now Mike and John both dressed up as Ghostbusters decided to go trick or treating for the whole night. Little do they know it’s about to take a horrifying twist. It was sharp eight thirty, Mike and John already had two buckets full of candy. They went all around Mirkwood for another whopping three hours , I know it’s a long time to go trick or treating but it’s Mike and John the Halloween enthusiasts. Mike and John were at their last house for trick or treating ,it’s about to be scary. When Mike and John were up on their last house which was eerie looking rusted wooden house they knocked for a while until suddenly the door in front of them whooshed open. They saw a note that said come inside. They went inside and saw a bowl of candy as they went to grab some of it bang!! goes the door. Mike ran back and couldn’t budge open the door. It looked like the two Ghostbusters were trapped in a Haunted house. Mike and John were trying to see if anyone was inside of the house but it was empty. They sat down in shaking fear trying to come up with ideas to escape they stood up bravely trying to explore the house until it came to the last room the master bedroom. Mike and John budged open the but the windows were sealed like the other rooms, they saw a weird looking cabinet but it was nothing except a house figure the size of a small box. As John was reaching into the box the master bedroom door shut and Mike fell to the ground in horror, John took his hand out of the house figure and took out a rusty looking vintage key. Mike got up and saw he fell on a secret compartment with a key hole, John immediately took the key and opened the compartment. When they opened it an eerie noise filled the silence of the master bedroom then they saw a shadow figure ,”Ha ha ha ha ha!!” said the horrifying looking Witch coming out of the secret compartment. Mike and John ran for their lives as the witch tried to catch them. Mike and John immediately ran and hid under the sofa, “I am going to hunt you down Ghostbusters”, said the Witch. Mike and John being the Halloween enthusiasts came up with not an idea but a plan, ” I am here you witch come and get me”, said John as Mike ran up to the master bedroom with the key in hands ready to send that witch back were it came from. John rushed through the room and made it look like it he was going to fall down but trapped the witch and Mike closed the secret compartment. Mike put the key back in the cabinet and stormed through outside the house with John. Mike and John ran as fast as they could back home as they experienced the most terrifyingly scary Halloween night of their lives.

For integrated learning we had to choose between Halloween or Diwali and make a presentation about it. This was a fun task and I learnt a lot from it.
